Art & Community

The Merage Foundation invests in Art and Community development projects that have deep-rooted impact in cultural education and expression.

The Foundation partners with results-oriented non-profit groups that have a strong education component. The support of organizations such as the Denver Art Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, and programs like LEVYdance, a dance company based in San Francisco, has allowed these groups to enrich the art experience of community members. Other community efforts range from open lands conservation in the Front Range through Colorado Open Lands, to grant partnerships with organizations like the Denver Rescue Mission that provide food, shelter and clothing to the homeless. Through such partnerships, the Merage Foundation strives to develop stronger, more effective organizations that may then better serve our community.

To further the Foundation's mission, the David and Laura Merage Foundation provided the seed funding to launch RedLine, a public charitable organization that promotes the creative expression of emerging and mid-career artists in various disciplines through the active engagement of diverse audiences.
