RedLine Affair celebrates art, education and community

DENVER - RedLine hosts its inaugural gala with new art, a creative silent auction and a fresh approach to art appreciation in an effort to stimulate and ignite Denver’s creative potential to which all are linked through art, education, dialogue and social responsiveness.
On Saturday, Oct. 23, Mayor John Hickenlooper joins hundreds of Denverites in this affair to celebrate RedLine’s studio artists, community programs and education outreach to help form this city’s future.
RedLine, celebrating its second anniversary this fall, is a center for contemporary art that combines an artist residency program with project-based community engagement in the arts. The gala will raise money and memberships to keep RedLine vibrant and its programs effective within the Denver community.
RedLine has developed unique partnerships in the community and in the schools which explore social issues through creative practice. RedLine’s current programs include Project 2323 with the clients of St. Francis Center serving Denver's homeless, EPIC Arts, which provides innovative arts opportunities in local schools and, lastly, a dynamic exhibition program introducing a wide range of artists and ideas to Denver.
