Merage Foundations: A Heavy Heart

Oct 30 2018

The Merage Foundations are deeply saddened by the anti-Semitic attack that occurred at the Tree of Life Synagogue. We mourn those who were lost, feel compassion for those who were injured, and empathize with those who were witness to such horrific acts of hate. This unnecessary tragedy is an injury to the entire nation, and we remain steadfast in our efforts to build a more tolerant society. The Merage Foundations gladly partners with organizations such as Moishe House and ADL to help combat these anti-Semitic acts that seem to be more and more frequent. Through ADL’s No Place for Hate program, over 1,600 schools across Colorado support students, educators, and families in combating biases and bullying within their communities, ultimately stopping the escalation of hate. The Merage Foundations praises these organizations for their dedication to such a necessary mission in hopes that one day, we can overcome hate.
